Ecatepec Mon Amour

"Ecatepec Mon Amour" is a short film shot in late 2022 as a thesis project at CCC, directed by Alistar Pulido and photographed by Estefanía Velázquez. The locations span both Mexico City and the State of Mexico. Starring Gabriela Cartol, it portrays the intimate journey of a single mother navigating daily life between Estado de Mexico and Mexico City. In this project, I had the opportunity to capture still photography and behind-the-scenes footage, documenting key moments and the emotional atmosphere that defines this poignant narrative. ////////// "Ecatepec Mon Amour" es un cortometraje realizado a finales de 2022 como proyecto de tesis del CCC, dirigido por Alistar Pulido y fotografiado por Estefanía Velázquez. Las locaciones incluyen áreas tanto de la Ciudad de México como del Estado de México. La película está protagonizada por Gabriela Cartol y ofrece un retrato íntimo de una madre soltera y su vida cotidiana mientras viaja entre el Estado de México y la Ciudad de México. En este proyecto, tuve la oportunidad de realizar fotografía fija y cobertura detrás de cámaras, capturando los momentos clave y el ambiente emotivo que caracteriza esta conmovedora historia.
